Dear DGs, PDGs, DISC, ICC Chairs, section Chairs and leadership,

For more than 76 years, Intercountry Committees have transformed friendship across borders into understanding, and understanding into peace. Today, the ICC network continues to serve as a meaningful bridge of friendship, service, goodwill, and international cooperation among Rotary Districts, Clubs, Rotarians, and Rotaractors across the world.

As we move forward with the ICC Executive Council’s vision for 2026–2028, our focus is to make this network stronger, more inclusive, more visible, and more effective. ICC receives no funding from Rotary International or The Rotary Foundation and remains self-sustaining. We therefore humbly invite every Rotary District to consider making a modest voluntary contribution to support the work of the ICC Executive Council.

Your contribution will be used to support ICC’s operating and administrative needs, communication initiatives, digital resources, multilingual outreach, hybrid meetings, regional engagement, awareness programmes, and approved humanitarian support activities consistent with Rotary principles and applicable RI policies.

In practical terms, this support will help make international collaboration easier for Clubs and members, ensure that distance and language are not barriers, and strengthen the platforms through which Districts and ICC National Sections share ideas, partnerships, and best practices.

The suggested voluntary contribution is based on the membership of each District:

  • 0 – 1250 members : 75 €
  • 1251 – 2500 members : 100 €
  • 2501 – 3750 members : 125 €
  • 3751 – 5000 members : 150 €
  • More than 5000 members : 175 €

Every contribution will be handled with care, responsibility, and transparency.

The use of funds will be guided by an annual budget, documented approval of expenditure, proper authorization of payments, and appropriate financial reporting. Participating Districts will be kept informed through financial reports and updates.

Contributions are entirely optional and voluntary. Every District’s participation is valued, whether through financial support, active involvement in ICC relationships, promotion of ICC activities, or encouragement of Clubs and members to engage in international service.

We thank you for standing with ICC as partners in friendship, service, and positive peacebuilding.

With warm regards and gratitude,

PDG Annemarie Mostert
