Richard Knowlton is a dual British-Italian citizen and a member of Rotary e-Club 2050 (District 2050, Italy). He serves as a Peace Major Gifts Initiative Adviser (MGIA) for the Rotary Foundation, helping districts and major donors support Rotary’s global peace initiatives and Peace Centers.

He is a Major Donor Level 3 and a member of the Bequest Society Level 2, reflecting his long-term commitment to the Rotary Foundation.

Professionally, Richard specialises in international risk management, resilience and cyber security, with particular interests in digital resilience, digital poverty and the societal impact of emerging technologies.

As Executive Director of the Cambridge Cyber Centre, he promotes international collaboration to strengthen resilience and build safer, more connected communities.
