The Bucharest 2024 International Meeting brought together over 60 participants, including Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and Community Corps members, both in-person and online. Attendees represented 19 countries, 18 Districts, 8 Zones, 5 ICCs, and 42 Clubs from November 14-17, 2024.
The primary goal of this and the next annual conferences is to establish a platform for Rotarians to connect ICCs, Districts, and Clubs, facilitating access to funds for community and international projects with a collective target of $10 million by 2030. By fostering collaboration across nations and clubs, the event promotes international cooperation, addresses community needs, and advances Rotary’s mission.
The conference served as a forum for developing joint projects, securing Global Grants, and building meaningful relationships between clubs and districts. Participants were encouraged to use the ICC framework to share experiences, strengthen Friendship Exchanges, and create impactful service projects leveraging Rotary’s global resources.
A major accomplishment of the conference was the development of six international projects, showcasing the power of collaboration among Rotarians. These initiatives reflect the shared commitment to achieving the $10 million funding goal by 2030.
Total Value of Projects: Over $100,000!
The conference concluded with a strong call to expand the collaboration and organize the next edition in 2025. Participants emphasized the importance of leveraging international cooperation through ICCs, Districts, Clubs, and Rotary initiatives to build impactful global projects, united under the motto: “Service Above Self!”
