March 14: Main event

The Forum on the Future of International Organizations, held on 14 March 2026 at UNESCO House in Paris, will bring together global voices to rethink multilateralism in a time of profound geopolitical, health, climate, and social disruption. The Forum aims to explore how international cooperation can be reshaped to better serve peace, global health, and education, at a moment when institutions face growing challenges of legitimacy, trust, and effectiveness.

Across a full day of high-level discussions, participants will engage with four core themes: the role of culture, peace, and education through UNESCO; global health governance and crisis preparedness in relation to the WHO; youth and innovation through UNICEF; and the future of multilateralism itself. Diplomats, researchers, NGO leaders, entrepreneurs, young professionals, and Rotarians from around the world will exchange perspectives alongside internationally recognized speakers, with a shared focus on practical solutions and collective responsibility.

More than a conference, the Forum is designed as a platform for action. The ideas and proposals emerging from the panels will be consolidated into a white paper addressed to UNESCO, WHO, UNICEF, and key stakeholders, ensuring that participants’ contributions feed directly into global policy discussions. By placing civil society at the center of the debate, the Forum seeks to reaffirm the role of dialogue, cooperation, and shared commitment in building a more peaceful, healthier, and better-educated world.

March 13: ICC Meeting

On the day before the Forum, the Rotary Intercountry Committee Executive Council will host a meeting from 2:00 pm to 5:00pm.

This session will provide a space for members to present their ongoing Intercountry Committee activities, share experiences from the field, and highlight concrete examples of cross-border cooperation. It will also be open to non-members, offering an opportunity to better understand the role of ICCs, their impact on international dialogue and peacebuilding, and how Rotarians can become involved in these initiatives.
