For those of you who will be attending the Rotary International Convention in Houston, you may join us on Monday 6 June 2002 – 03:00 to 05:00 hrs PM for a meeting on Strengthening international Service through ICCs.
This meeting will take place in the Montgomery Room of the Marriott Marquis Hotel.
Intercountry Committees (ICC) relationships contribute to expand Rotary intercultural understanding, build friendships across borders, foster peace, and facilitate cooperation between diverse cultures and nations through international service.
Through presentations and exchanges we will highlight how clubs and districts can participate in ICCs to strengthen their international service work and build partnerships with clubs in other countries.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- learn about Intercountry Committees and how to participate to or create an ICC
- be inspired through examples of successful ICC project which support Rotary Action plan
- get innovative ideas on how to conduct international projects
As our world becomes increasingly interconnected and as our members’ international interests grow participants will learn how ICCs activities can help enhance Rotary participant engagement.
