Some of the South African leaders from Rotary Intercountry Committees joined the Rotary E-Club of D9400 Portuguese International for a business luncheon at Casa da Madeira in Johannesburg, hosted by Club President Tony de Gouveia.

Guests included PDG Annemarie Mostert, President of the ICC Executive Council; Assistant Governor Shereen Hunter, a member of the ICC; Rotarian Doug Wedding; PAG Hans Mostert, IPP Manny Ferreirinha, National Chairman of the Portuguese Forum of South Africa; and Rtn. Paula Franco, Vice President of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The occasion recognised the recent twinning between the Rotary E-Club of D9400 Portuguese International in South Africa and the Rotary Club of Coimbra Saúde in Portugal.

Facilitated through the work of Rotary Intercountry Committees, club twinning creates lasting relationships across borders and opens opportunities for shared service projects, cultural exchange and international cooperation.

Today’s gathering reflected the ICC’s commitment to strengthening international understanding, building strategic relationships and turning cross-border connections into meaningful collaboration.
