Anil, after donating his kidney to his brother 10 years ago, he embarked on a mission to ensure NO one dies waiting for an organ. With a Goal to reach a million potential donors driving around the world with the message of organ donation and love.
Anil has so far reached over 300000 plus people via over 1000 lectures. He has driven across 69 countries in the past 8 years and is currently on a mission to unite Rotary for organ donation. He was flagged off by Rotary International President Shekhar Mehta at the Rotary International Convention in Houston and is currently driving to the Next convention in Calgary Canada and then to Germany to compete for India at the World Transplant games in Aug 2025. Anil is a triple gold medal winner for India in the 2019 and 2023 games.
Anil is the founder and Charter President of the world’s first Rotary Club of Organ Donation (2021). The co founder and current VP of Rotary Action Group Blood and Organ Donation, he was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student in 1984-85 to Smithers, Canada. Founder and Charter President of Rotary Club of Plainsboro, NJ USA (2002) and Rotary Club Bangalore Social, India (2019). Appeared on the cover of the August 2024 issue of The Rotary Magazine for his work on Organ Donation awareness.
