An Unforgettable Journey with ICC
What a fantastic experience this 3rd Peace Forum was, a worthy successor to the Cairo and South Africa editions!
I’m hitting the road again with a grateful heart, a wealth of inspiring projects in mind, and wonderful friendships and new contacts.
The adventure continued through northern Morocco.
An unforgettable journey to Tangier with the wonderful Intercountry Committees team, discovering local wonders.
Tangier, the gateway to Africa
From views of Spain from Cape Spartelto the lively alleyways of the Kasbah, Tangier captivates with its cosmopolitan energy.
Tetouan, Arab-Andalusian elegance An authentic immersion in one of Morocco’s most beautiful medinas, amidst traditional crafts and whitewashed facades.
Chefchaouen, the blue pearl. Walking through Chefchaouenwith fellow Rotarians from Rotary’s Intercountry
Committees is to experience a shared serenity. Every azure alleyway becomes the setting for a confidence shared, a burst of laughter, or an idea for a future humanitarian project.
The city’s blue resonates curiously with the color of our organization, like a symbol of peace and clarity.
Let us remember that the Intercountry Committees are not just agreements signed on paper. They live through the steps we take together, the harira soup shared at dinner, and this common will to tear down walls and build bridges. This trip to Northern Morocco has come to an end, but the energy sparked by this encounter is only just beginning. The
Intercountry Committees and Rotary still have many wonderful chapters to write together, across the seas.
