Districts 2475 and 2485 Signed Intercountry Committee Agreement in Rhodes

A significant milestone in international Rotary collaboration was celebrated during the Rotary District 2475 Conference, held on the island of Rhodes, Greece, with the official signing of an Intercountry Committee (ICC) Agreement between Rotary District 2475 (Greece) and Rotary District 2485 (Albania and Kosovo).
The signing ceremony brought together the District Governors, Past District Governors, Rotary leaders, and Rotarians from both districts, highlighting a shared commitment to strengthening friendship, cooperation, and service across national borders.The establishment of the Intercountry Committee marks the beginning of a long-term partnership designed to foster closer relationships between Rotary clubs in Greece, Albania, and Kosovo. Through this collaboration, the two districts will encourage joint humanitarian projects, professional and cultural exchanges, youth initiatives, and activities that support Rotary International’s mission of creating lasting change in communities.
More than a formal agreement, the ICC represents a commitment to building bridges between people, promoting goodwill, and advancing international understanding through meaningful service. It reflects Rotary’s enduring belief that friendship is the foundation of peace and that collaboration across borders can create a greater impact than any district can achieve alone.
The ceremony, held in the historic setting of Rhodes, symbolized the spirit of unity that defines Rotary.
Participants expressed their enthusiasm for future joint initiatives and reaffirmed their dedication to working together in support of Rotary’s shared values and Areas of Focus.
